3 1/2 Years Old

Vanessa is half way to being 4 years old! How Cow! We will be having a preschooler on our hands soon enough. She is quite the little princess! She loves being active and playing. She is very smart and we just love being able to have her in our family.

I took her for a check-up the same day as Owen. Let me tell you, it is hard enough taking one kid to the doctors but taking two is just torture! Anyway, this visit was mostly to check on her heart and her growth. Thankfully everything looks and sounds normal! The doctor said that she does have a small heart murmur still but is actually quite normal for kids her age to have one. She is not concerned with it at all. We are so thankful that this was not a serious condition and that Vanessa has continued to be healthy and strong. We truly have been blessed with an amazing little girl!

• Loves to color on every paper she can find.
• Can now write her name and anytime she sees the letter V, she shouts "Look, V for Vanessa!"
• Loves playing kitchen and setting the table with a table cloth and all.
• Is always asking if we can go back to Disneyland.
• Loves playing with her baby dolls and playing doctor.
• Enjoys bossing her little brother around and also playing with him. What a great big sister she is!
• Keeps telling me that she wants another baby brother like Owen. Hmm...?
• Still loves playing dress up and being a princess.
