Trunk or Treat

This year we got a special treat for Halloween. We got to have our little niece Aliyah here! Vanessa was super excited to go to the trunk or treat with Aliyah. Vanessa was Sleeping Beauty, Aliyah was Cinderella and Owen was the cutest turtle we have ever seen! We went to Mark's parents' ward Trunk or Treat. We had some delicious soup and had a lot of fun watching the kids get their candy. Vanessa was sure funny though. There was a lady from the ward that dressed up as a witch with a big pointy nose and chin and a green face. I guess it totally scared her! She wouldn't get down to walk by herself and kept saying, "No! The scary witch is gonna get me!" We tried telling her that she was gone but she didn't believe us. She is not a fan of scary things. She must get that from me. On the other hand, she made the cutest Princess Aurora. She loved playing in her pink dress and had so much fun being princesses with Aliyah.

Aliyah was sure cute too! She kept saying, "Pretty blue dress" and twirling around with Vanessa. She is definitely a cutie and we loved seeing her all dressed up as Cinderella.

Like I said before, Owen was the cutest turtle ever! When he walked his little shell would wobble. He didn't like wearing it at first but soon forgot he had it on when he got playing with his cousin and sister.

After the Trunk or Treat we went to Grandpa and Grandma Sorensen's to play some more.

The kids had fun doing Ring Around the Rosies. Vanessa loves having her cousin here to play with!
