A couple of weeks ago, we decided to get some fish. We got a small 5 gallon tank to start us off. We didn't want to just dive right in and get a big tank. We wanted to make sure we didn't kill the two fish that we got.
So far the fish are doing great! Vanessa loves to sit and watch the fish swim. She will slide the chair up to the bar and just stand by the tank for hours (if I would let her). She has named the fish as well. The yellow one is named....Tina and the silver one would have been named Tina too but Daddy persuaded her to name it Herbie.
We are going to go and get three more tonight. Vanessa really would like a pink one so we will try to find one. It has been fun having some pet fish. They are very relaxing to watch which is always an added benefit with two kids!

ha ha! I'm glad Mark could name the fish Herbie. It's better as a fish or dog name, right?! I thought it was funny that they both were going to be Tina though. Hilarious. Hope the fish are doing okay!
