Owen's 2 Year Old Stats

Owen had his 2 year old well-child check up the other day. Here are his results:

Length: 32.17 Inches (8%tile)
Weight: 23 lbs 13.5 oz (7%tile)
Head Circ: 48.2 cm (37%tile)
I was yet again told that we have a petite little boy. Hopefully he will hit a growth spurt sometime in his development.

We love having Owen in our family! He adds so much fun and adventure to our lives. We love listening to him laugh, talk, and watching him smile!

Here a some things that Owen is now doing:

• He is talking like crazy! He likes to copy everything that Vanessa say which is helping him add to his vocabulary quickly! He is now saying full sentences.
  
• He is quite the polite little boy. Whenever he wants something he will come up and say what he wants and then ends with a pleading, "PLEEEASE!" Too cute.
  
• He loves to have books read to him.
• He has named two of his stuffed dinosaurs. One is Jack and the other Lucy.
• He loves to play board games. He favorite requests are "Tiki Room" (aka Tiki Topple), Fish Game, Mouse Trap, and Lucky Ducks.
• He has requested to go poop on the potty 4 times. He will tell us when he is stinking and wet. Hopefully, potty training will go well.
• He is a very good eater. He will eat almost anything we put in front of him.
  
• He takes one nap a day for about 2 to 3 hours. And he is very easy to get to sleep.
• He talks about the new baby all the time and asks to hear "baby's heartbeat."
• He is such a little boy. He loves anything to do with dirt, mud, sand, sticks, bugs, trucks, and dinosaurs.
• Yet he still loves to play dress up with Vanessa. At least he plays the prince.
• He loves to play outside and go swimming.
• He wears 24 month clothes but some of them are still a bit big and wearing size 5 shoes

We still can't believe that our little boy is now 2! Where has the time went! We look forward to watching him grow and develop and making many many more memories with him. We love you, Mr. Owen!
