We woke up unusually early (must be the time change) and got ready to head to church. It was fun to go to church with the Nair's and meet some of the people from their ward. It was a great experience for us to see other members of the church in different areas and feel of their testimonies.
After church, we ate a yummy lunch together and decided that we would
take a drive around the island. It was weird to think that we were on an
island with no other outlet than boat or plane. We had a lot of
touring the island. We had the best tour guides. Amanda was able to tell
us a lot about the Hawaiian history and culture which made the
experience even better.

| This is a tree by the Nair's house. It was pretty interesting. |
| Passing by a boating dock. |
| We stopped at a blow hole. It was neat to see it! |
| In the winter months, this place is a great look out for spotting whales. Too bad it was a bit too early in the season to see some. |
| We were able to spot a few sea turtles swimming in this bay. |
| As we were driving around the island, we stopped at a beach park where
we could see China Man's Hat. It was a very pretty beach. It was also
close to where the movie Jurassic Park was filmed. The scenery was
amazing. We loved seeing all of the green trees, blue ocean, and sand. |
| Enjoying the ocean! |
| There was a tree that had grown out over the beach which made for a fun Hawaiian picture! |
| We stopped to see the Laie Temple. Oh my goodness! It was breathtaking. The temple grounds are amazing and we got super excited to be able to do a session that week! |
| We finished the day by sitting on the North Shore Waimea Beach and watching a beautiful sunset! |
