We flew out Saturday October 8th at noon to Honolulu, Hawaii. It was a non-stop flight so we had about 6 hours to just relax. We watched a few movies that we have been wanting to see and played some games on the iPad. The hours passed by quickly and we arrived in Hawaii at 2:30pm. We quickly got our things and met up with Solomon and Amanda. They took us to the car rental agency were we picked up our cute little Chevy Aveo.
After getting everything squared away, we went to the Nair's house, changed into our swimming suits and headed to Waimanalo Beach. It was a bit windy but the guys sure had fun body boarding and catching some waves. The water was so clear and blue. I loved just sitting on the beach and watching the waves come in. So peaceful. The ride back to the Nair's was a bit cold and wet because we some how forgot our towels.
After drying off, we headed to downtown Honolulu to grab some dinner. We were going to go to an Italian restaurant but the wait time was over an hour and we were all starving. So we ended up going to Panda Express which was a great choice! I don't like shrimp too much but I tried their Walnut Shrimp and really enjoyed it. We had a lot of fun chatting with the Nair's. We were pretty tired by the time we got back to the house so we called it a night. We had a fun first day in Hawaii!
